The General Counsel will be responsible for all legal, regulatory, compliance, and government affairs. As we grow, you will be responsible for developing our legal strategy, both in scaling our internal legal team, and coordinating our external partners. Work with operational teams as legal needs arise, ranging from new office leases to understanding regulation governing us in new jurisdictions that we enter. The General Counsel is an expert and leader who helps the company minimize its legal risks by advising the company's other officers and board members on any major legal and regulatory issues the company confronts. The Counsel will play a critical role in the strategic leadership of the company and the executive leadership team to help set and implement strategic direction.
