The successful candidate sits on the executive team with the need to provide direct guidance and thought leadership on challenging issues related to privacy and regulation both inside and outside the company. The General Counsel is responsible for direct delivery of comprehensive legal services across the organization. This is a multi-disciplinary role. In delivering the legal function, the General Counsel will supervise a staff of two attorneys and work in conjunction with external counsel, its executive team, the product organization, marketing, and engineering organizations in turning regulations around data and privacy into products. Some international travel may be required. The Counsel will be responsible for building and empowering our Legal team, setting legal strategy, overseeing key deals and relationships, and serving as a partner to the rest of the company. Company has a complex legal function, and your purview will span across product, regulatory, commercial, international expansions, privacy, corporate, IP, employment, policy, and compliance.
