The Role: ForgeRock is looking for a highly motivated lawyer looking to expand their career with broad responsibilities while supporting our global business. This role will provide cross-functional assistance for sales, business development and corporate initiatives within the legal team. The successful candidate, reporting to the General Counsel, will work alongside other senior members of the team on key company initiatives and will also take ownership of their own projects and areas of responsibility. We are a small global legal team that is looking for candidates that will support our diverse culture and become a critical contributor to our company’s success. Responsibilities: Commercial: Managing overall global partner program agreements, policies, and processes to ensure a consistent approach in all of ForgeRock’s regions. Drafting and negotiating global partner agreements and other commercial contracts. Corporate: Support corporate activities for the company’s international subsidiaries, including coordinating annual meetings, filings and the establishment of new entities. Compliance: Assist in the management of global regulatory compliance, including OFAC, Anti-Bribery, and Privacy. This includes a focus on the support of global privacy programs, training and implementation. In a matrixed environment, become a problem solver and actively assist in driving the company and department goals forward on ad hoc projects. This role will require flexible hours and occasionally the willingness to work extended hours to match the peaks inherent in software business cycles. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must have 1-3 years of experience with software licensing and commercial agreements. Must have positive negotiation skills and enjoy engaging with others throughout the organization. Must possess great attention to detail and a drive for continued development of skills Must have a good sense of humor and dedicated to supporting a team environment Advantageous to have multiple language skills Advantageous to have in-house experience, particularly with a global company Advantageous to have experience working in a start-up environment Advantageous to have significant exposure to negotiating software licenses Life at ForgeRock: We believe in and facilitate a flexible, collaborative work environment.
