In House Counsel Job, Entertainment Corp, Attorney will negotiate, draft, and follow-up on all contracts for all forms of production, including series production and on-air interstitial programming. Responsible for independent contractor agreements, vendor contracts, on-air talent agreements, footage licenses, and all releases. Revise/redline long-form agreements including: on-air talent, turnaround, and turnkey producer agreements. Revise Starz (STE) contract templates and draft new legal language; order copyright & title reports and review for clearance. Track incoming clearance documentation; review scripts, storyboards, and original programming for possible clearance issues. Review outside production budgets and negotiate payment schedules and delivery dates. Responsible for ongoing training with in-house producers re: deal memos, documentation, production insurance and proper clearances. Work with talent consultants, STE in-house producers, and the production, creative services, PR and Marketing departments to coordinate and negotiate deals for on-air talent for interstitial productions. Maintain file index and all computer and hard files for the Business & Legal Affairs
